Premium coffee
Nicaragua Finca coffee beans come from the Las Campanillas farm in the Jinotega region – 100% Arabica from the Yellow Bourbon and Catuai varieties, grown at elevations between 900 and 1,300 metres above sea level and processed using the washed method. Yellow Bourbon is a variety valued for its natural sweetness and fruity complexity, and it is precisely this that defines the character of coffee from Nicaragua.
In the cup, a note of macadamia appears – creamy, gently buttery and remarkably rare in speciality coffee. It is accompanied by the aroma of berries and warm chocolate, with a long, smooth finish. The coffee has low acidity and a silky texture. It is a great choice for those looking for a speciality coffee from Nicaragua with a refined, sweet profile and no dominant bitterness.
Nicaragua Finca coffee beans work best in an espresso machine or moka pot, where their low acidity and buttery macadamia character produce a creamy, smooth shot. They can also be brewed in a French Press or drip. We especially recommend them to those who value coffees with a gentle, elegant character – and enjoy being surprised by notes they have not encountered before.
